The Vision

Re-imagining food waste as an energy resource

It is our vision for the world to see food waste as an opportunity, rather than a liability. Our mission at Food2X is to re-imagine waste as a resource by diverting food waste and swine wastewater to wastewater treatment facilities for efficient biogas production. Our co-founders include Cornell Engineers who were awarded the German Chancellor Fellowship (50 in the world) from the Humboldt Foundation (2020), and landed on Forbes 30 Under 30 in Energy, among others.
